New York, Corning Museum of Glass; Eric Goldsmith admires the collection of masterpieces realized over 4000 years ago by using lampworking technique. He wonders about the evolution its evolution and about the developments that brought lampworkers to be part of the most prestigious exhibitions of their field.

During his visit the curator of the museum will persuade Eric to undertake an unique journey through different time periods and different countries to better know who lampworking protagonists have been.

His first step will lead him to Murano island, living heart of glass working environment.
